Overview

ATOPALM is a brand name for a range of over-the-counter topical products formulated for various skin conditions. The line includes: - Hydrocortisone 1% ointment (ATOPALM MAXIMUM STRENGTH ANTI-ITCH) for temporary relief of itching and inflammation due to eczema, insect bites, poison ivy/oak/sumac, soaps/detergents, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and external genital/anal itching. Its mechanism is anti-inflammatory via glucocorticoid receptor agonism[1]. - Salicylic acid lotion (ATOPALM ACNE CONTROLLING) used in the treatment of acne through keratolytic action[2]. - Bacitracin-containing first aid cream (Atopalm First Aid Moisturizing and Pain Relief), an antibiotic ointment for minor cuts or scrapes[3]. - Camphor-based muscle rub (ATOPALM MOISTURIZING MUSCLE RUB) with analgesic properties[4]. - Mineral oil/petrolatum-based hemorrhoidal cream (ATOPALM HEMORRHOIDAL) as an emollient/soothing agent for hemorrhoids[6][7]. - Clotrimazole antifungal cream (Atopalm Antifungal Cream), used to treat fungal skin infections by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis in fungi[8]. The products are developed using patented Multi-Lamellar Emulsion (MLE) moisturizing technology designed to mimic the natural structure of the skin barrier.
