Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ATORM-S is an organoid-based regenerative cell therapy developed by OrganoidSciences for the treatment of refractory salivary gland hypofunction, including radiation-induced salivary gland dysfunction and xerostomia. Composed of salivary gland organoids derived from adult tissues, ATORM-S possesses self-renewal and self-organization capabilities. Upon local transplantation into damaged salivary gland tissue, the organoids engraft and differentiate into functional salivary gland structures, thereby restoring saliva secretion and salivary gland function.
