Overview

ATP150 is a therapeutic cancer vaccine candidate developed using the KISIMA platform, originally by AMAL Therapeutics (acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim). It is designed for the treatment of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The KISIMA platform utilizes a recombinant fusion protein comprising three functional components: a cell-penetrating peptide (Z12) for efficient antigen delivery, a multi-antigenic cargo containing tumor-specific antigens, and a Toll-like receptor (TLR) peptide agonist that acts as a self-adjuvant. ATP150 is typically evaluated as part of a heterologous prime-boost regimen, often in combination with oncolytic viruses (such as VSV-GP154) and immune checkpoint inhibitors (such as ezabenlimab) to enhance T-cell responses against "cold" tumors. Clinical development has focused on its safety and efficacy in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.
