Overview

ATR-339 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug candidate developed by Atrogi. It is designed to target the β₂-adrenergic receptor to restore metabolic function while simultaneously preserving muscle mass. The drug is being developed for the treatment of obesity and muscle-wasting conditions. ATR-339 belongs to a novel class of β₂-adrenergic receptor modulators that aim to address metabolic dysfunction by improving muscular insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake, potentially avoiding the typical side effects associated with traditional β₂-agonists.
