Atrapro

Atrapro is a prescription-only, non-steroidal antipruritic hydrogel indicated for the management of symptoms of various types of dermatoses, including atopic dermatitis and allergic contact dermatitis. Developed by Promius Pharma (a subsidiary of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories), it is designed to relieve burning and itching while providing a protective barrier for the skin. The formulation is intended to maintain a moist environment, which is conducive to the healing process and protects the skin from further irritation. Clinical data indicates significant reduction in pruritus and improvement in skin condition for patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. It was cleared by the FDA as a medical device via the 510(k) pathway.
