ATT-02+ is a preclinical-stage cancer immunotherapy developed by Attivare Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate employs a biomaterial scaffold composed of mesoporous silica rods (MSRs) to deliver Interleukin-12 (IL-12) in combination with an AI-selected suite of immune agonists, referred to as the ATT-AI Chosen Agent. Designed for intratumoral administration, the MSR scaffold creates a localized inflammatory niche that recruits and activates dendritic cells and T cells. This approach aims to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and trigger a systemic anti-tumor immune response while limiting the systemic toxicity typically associated with the systemic administration of potent cytokines like IL-12.
