Atux Iskay Group is developing a pipeline of prototype small-molecule activators of Protein Phosphatase 2A (PP2A) designed to treat transcriptionally addicted and Ras-driven cancers. PP2A is a critical tumor suppressor phosphatase that is often functionally inactivated in various malignancies, leading to the constitutive activation of oncogenic signaling and transcriptional programs. These small molecules are intended to restore PP2A activity, thereby modulating key oncogenic drivers including the MYC and MYCN oncoproteins, the C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA Polymerase II (RNAPII), and the Integrator-PP2A complex. By promoting the dephosphorylation of these targets, the compounds aim to disrupt the transcriptional machinery that fuels cancer cell survival and proliferation. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
