Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Audeo Oncology is developing a pipeline of small-molecule inhibitors targeting Sterol Regulatory Element-Binding Protein (SREBP) transcription factors. These inhibitors are designed to disrupt the metabolic reprogramming of cancer cells by blocking SREBP-driven lipid synthesis and oncogenic signaling pathways, specifically the PI3K/Akt/mTOR axis. By targeting the intersection of lipid metabolism and growth signaling, these compounds aim to inhibit tumor progression and overcome resistance mechanisms in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) and other solid tumors. The program is currently in the preclinical stage, with data demonstrating efficacy in animal models.
