Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Audin (also marketed as Avodin or Avoudin) is a natural dietary supplement developed by Arian Salamat Sina under license from Holistica. It is formulated as an oral capsule containing a combination of avocado-soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), ginger extract, and natural vitamin D3. Audin is primarily indicated for the management of osteoarthritis, joint pain, and muscle aches. The avocado-soybean unsaponifiables in Audin stimulate collagen and proteoglycan synthesis to promote cartilage repair and slow the progression of osteoarthritis. The ginger extract acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) and lipoxygenase (LOX) enzymes, thereby reducing the production of inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Vitamin D3 is included to support bone health and prevent deficiency, which is a risk factor for joint inflammation and osteoporosis.
