Overview

**Aujemflu** is CSL Seqirus's high-dose, MF59-adjuvanted, cell culture-derived trivalent inactivated seasonal influenza vaccine, developed as CSL403 and also called aTIVc. It contains influenza virus surface antigens from two influenza A subtypes, H1N1 and H3N2, and an influenza B Victoria-lineage strain. The vaccine is manufactured using cell culture rather than eggs and uses the MF59 oil-in-water adjuvant to enhance and broaden antigen-specific immune responses, including neutralising antibodies directed principally against viral haemagglutinin. It is authorised in the United Kingdom for prevention of influenza in adults aged 50 years and older.
