Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AUMsaver is a cost-effective antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) product developed by AUM Biotech for gene silencing applications in research. These ASOs are single-stranded DNA/RNA-mimicking oligonucleotides designed to bind target RNA sequences and induce RNase H1-mediated cleavage, resulting in decreased expression of the target gene. The design incorporates both DNA-like and chemically modified regions (such as phosphorothioate backbones and possible 2′ modifications) to enhance stability, potency, and resistance to nuclease degradation. Unlike self-delivering ASOs, AUMsaver requires transfection reagents or physical methods for cellular delivery. The product is optimized using AI-driven design tools for high specificity with minimal off-target effects[1].
