Overview

AUR-112 is a novel, orally available small molecule inhibitor targeting the protease activity of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 (MALT1). MALT1 is a key component in antigen receptor signaling pathways that activate NF-κB and are crucial for lymphocyte function. By inhibiting MALT1 protease activity, AUR-112 disrupts downstream signaling required for the survival and proliferation of malignant B cells. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of B-cell lymphomas and advanced lymphoma. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its potential to suppress tumor growth by blocking MALT1-dependent pathways. The developer and originator is Aurigene Oncology (formerly Aurigene Discovery Technologies)[1][2][3][4].
