AUR101

AUR101 is an oral small molecule inverse agonist of the nuclear receptor RORγt (retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptor gamma t), developed primarily for the treatment of moderate-to-severe chronic plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. By inhibiting RORγt, AUR101 reduces differentiation of naïve T cells into Th17 cells and subsequently decreases secretion of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-21, and IL-22. This mechanism targets Th17-mediated inflammatory pathways implicated in autoimmune diseases. The drug is being developed by Aurigene Oncology (formerly Aurigene Discovery Technologies), a subsidiary of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories[1][2][3][4][6][8].
