Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aurarix is a biological therapeutic developed by Zheng Yang Biomedical Technology (ZYBT) for the treatment of dry eye disease. It is derived from human platelets and contains a concentrated mixture of growth factors, cytokines, and vitamins, including epidermal growth factor (EGF), transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β), and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF). These components work synergistically to promote the healing of the corneal epithelium, stabilize the tear film, and reduce ocular surface inflammation. Aurarix is typically prepared as an autologous or allogeneic serum-based eye drop, providing a regenerative approach to ocular surface disorders where standard artificial tears are insufficient.
