Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**AURN001** is an investigational, single-administration regenerative combination cell therapy developed for corneal edema secondary to corneal endothelial dysfunction. It combines allogeneic human corneal endothelial cells, termed neltependocel, with the Rho-associated protein kinase inhibitor Y-27632. The transplanted endothelial cells are intended to repopulate the posterior cornea and restore endothelial pump and barrier function, while Rho-associated protein kinase inhibition supports cell attachment, survival, spreading, and functional recovery after intracameral administration. AURN001 is being evaluated in the Phase 3 ASTRA study in the United States. ([aurionbiotech.com](https://aurionbiotech.com/pipeline/))
