Overview

aUroCell-Tx is an autologous cell therapy product developed by Phosprint P.C. for the treatment of bladder cancer, specifically muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). The therapy utilizes a proprietary Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) technology to precisely print a patient's own urothelial cells onto the bladder wall. This bioprinting approach is intended to regenerate the urothelium and repair the bladder wall following surgical procedures like transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT), thereby reducing the risk of cancer recurrence and progression. By employing autologous cells, the treatment aims to avoid immune rejection while providing a localized, regenerative therapeutic effect within the bladder environment.
