Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**AUTO8** is an investigational, autologous dual-targeting CAR-T cell therapy developed by Autolus Therapeutics in collaboration with University College London for plasma-cell disorders. The product is engineered to co-express a high-sensitivity B-cell maturation antigen CAR and a CD19 CAR, enabling recognition and CAR-mediated killing of BCMA-positive malignant plasma cells and potentially CD19-expressing disease-associated plasma-cell progenitors. AUTO8 is being evaluated in Phase 1 studies for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma in the MCARTY trial and for systemic light-chain amyloidosis in the ALARIC trial.
