Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Autoimmune Program 2 is a preclinical research and development collaboration between TScan Therapeutics and Amgen, focused on the treatment of Crohn's disease. The program leverages TScan's proprietary TargetScan platform to identify novel antigens recognized by T cells, specifically focusing on MHC class II targets of CD4+ T cells in patients with Crohn's disease. Once specific biological targets are identified, Amgen will evaluate various therapeutic modalities to develop drug candidates and will hold global development and commercialization rights. The collaboration, announced in May 2023, includes an upfront payment and potential milestone payments exceeding $500 million.
