Overview

Autologous adipose decellularized active protein (ADAP) is a bioactive regenerative material derived from a patient's own adipose tissue. The production process involves the decellularization of lipoaspirate to remove cellular components and lipid droplets while preserving the natural extracellular matrix (ECM) structure and a concentrated pool of endogenous growth factors, including VEGF, bFGF, and TGF-β. ADAP acts as both a biological scaffold and a reservoir of signaling molecules that promote angiogenesis, fibroblast proliferation, and collagen synthesis. It is primarily investigated in plastic and reconstructive surgery for facial rejuvenation, the treatment of atrophic scars, and soft tissue augmentation, offering a biocompatible alternative to synthetic fillers or traditional fat grafting with potentially higher retention rates and regenerative capacity.
