Overview

Autologous adipose-derived adult stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is a cell therapy being developed by the Samara Regional Medical Center Dinasty for the treatment of male infertility, specifically azoospermia and severe oligozoospermia. The therapy involves harvesting a patient's own adipose tissue via lipoaspiration, followed by the isolation of the stromal vascular fraction, which contains a heterogeneous population of cells including mesenchymal stem cells, endothelial progenitor cells, and various immune cells. This cellular mixture is then injected directly into the testicular interstitium. The proposed mechanism of action involves the stimulation of Sertoli cells and spermatogonia through paracrine signaling and direct cellular support, aiming to restore or enhance spermatogenesis and improve sperm concentration, morphology, and motility in patients with severe spermatogenic disorders.
