Autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) and stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is a cell therapy developed by Kasiak Research Pvt. Ltd. for the treatment of critical limb ischemia (CLI). The therapy involves isolating ADMSCs and SVF from a patient's own adipose tissue and administering them via intramuscular and intravenous routes. These cells promote angiogenesis and neovascularization through direct differentiation and the secretion of paracrine factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF-1), and stem cell factor (SCF). This mechanism aims to improve blood flow and limb function in hypoxic muscular tissue. The therapy was evaluated in a Phase I/II randomized, open-label clinical trial assessing safety and efficacy in patients with CLI.
