Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is an investigational autologous cell therapy consisting of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) developed by the Man Clinic for Andrology, Male Infertility and Sexual Dysfunction. The treatment is designed for patients suffering from erectile dysfunction and Peyronie's disease. The therapeutic process involves harvesting the patient's own fat tissue via liposuction, isolating the stem cells, and then injecting them directly into the corpora cavernosa and the dorsal penile artery under Doppler ultrasound guidance. The goal of the therapy is to utilize the regenerative potential of stem cells to reduce fibrosis in the tunica albuginea and improve penile vascular function and erection quality.
