This is an investigational autologous cell therapy consisting of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) developed by the Medical University of Warsaw. The treatment involves harvesting fat tissue from the patient, isolating the mesenchymal stem cells, and delivering them via intra-articular injection into joints affected by mild to moderate osteoarthritis, such as the knee, hip, or glenohumeral joint. The therapy aims to leverage the immunomodulatory and regenerative potential of MSCs to reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair within the joint environment. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase I/II clinical trial (NCT04675359) to assess safety and effectiveness based on inflammatory markers, microRNAs, and clinical features.
