Overview

Autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy developed by UPECLIN HC FM Botucatu Unesp for the treatment of critical limb ischemia (CLI) and associated lower limb ulcers. The therapy involves extracting adipose tissue from the patient's abdomen, expanding the mesenchymal stem cells in a specialized cell processing center, and re-administering them to the patient. The administration protocol includes perilesional subcutaneous injections and the application of a personalized biological dressing containing the expanded cells. The treatment aims to stimulate angiogenesis and provide immunomodulatory effects to promote the healing of chronic arterial ulcers in patients who are not candidates for conventional revascularization procedures.
