Overview

BG1805 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy that specifically targets CLL-1 (C-type lectin-like molecule 1), a cell surface protein highly expressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. Upon administration, the engineered patient-derived T cells are designed to recognize and bind to CLL-1-expressing tumor cells, inducing selective cytotoxicity against these malignant cells. The primary indication for BG1805 is relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in AML patients[1][2][3][4][5].
