Overview

Autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) are an experimental cell therapy investigated by Arda Kiani for the treatment of emphysema. This therapeutic approach involves the extraction of mesenchymal stem cells from the patient's own bone marrow, followed by their expansion and subsequent delivery directly into the lungs via endobronchial transplantation (bronchoscopy).
