Overview

Autologous CD30 CAR-T + nivolumab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of autologous T cells engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting CD30 (commonly known as TT11) administered together with the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody nivolumab. The combination is being studied primarily for the treatment of relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) after failure of frontline therapies. The rationale is that PD-1 blockade with nivolumab may enhance the persistence and antitumor activity of CD30-CAR-T cells by alleviating T-cell exhaustion in the immunosuppressive microenvironment characteristic of cHL[2][3][4][1].
