This autologous cultured fibroblast therapy is a regenerative medicine product developed by the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (SCARM) Institute in Tabriz, Iran. It is specifically designed for the correction of nasolabial folds and the mitigation of skin aging. The treatment process involves harvesting a small skin sample from the patient's retro-auricular area, from which fibroblasts are isolated and expanded in vitro. These cultured cells are then re-injected into the patient's dermal layers at the site of wrinkles or folds. The therapeutic mechanism relies on the transplanted fibroblasts' ability to synthesize essential extracellular matrix components, primarily collagen, thereby increasing dermal thickness and density to restore skin elasticity and volume.
