This autologous adoptive cellular immunotherapy is developed by Liaoning Medical Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Research and Development Co., Ltd. for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The therapy involves the ex vivo expansion and activation of a patient's own peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) into three distinct immune cell populations: dendritic cells (DC), cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells, and natural killer (NK) cells. Dendritic cells are administered subcutaneously to present tumor antigens and stimulate a specific T-cell response, while CIK and NK cells are infused intravenously to provide non-MHC-restricted cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. This combined approach is designed to enhance the body's systemic immune function, target residual lesions, and inhibit tumor proliferation in patients with lung, liver, colorectal, and breast cancers.
