The autologous dendritic cell vaccine for melanoma is a personalized cancer immunotherapy developed by Froceth. This therapy utilizes a patient's own dendritic cells (DCs), which are matured and modulated—specifically using exosome-based immunomodulation in Froceth's approach—to enhance their ability to present melanoma-specific antigens. Once re-administered to the patient, typically via intradermal injection, these activated dendritic cells stimulate a targeted T-cell response against melanoma cells. Froceth's dendritic cell platform, designated as DLP (Dendritic Cell Preparation), is currently in preclinical development for melanoma, while related DC-based programs are being investigated for other indications such as kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and ovarian cancer.
