Autologous dexosomes loaded with tumor-specific peptides are a personalized, cell-free cancer immunotherapy developed by Anosys. The product consists of extracellular vesicles released from a patient's autologous monocyte-derived dendritic cells and loaded with tumor-associated peptide antigens. These peptide-bearing vesicles display peptide-major histocompatibility complex class I and class II complexes that can promote antigen-specific T-cell activation and antitumor immune responses. The program entered a Phase II study in stage IV malignant melanoma, but that study was suspended; earlier Phase I clinical work included melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer.
