Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This investigational cellular therapy consists of autologous G-CSF mobilized hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) developed by the University of Florida for the treatment of pediatric brain stem tumors. It is a key component of the BRAVO Phase I clinical trial, which evaluates a multi-modal immunotherapy approach for newly diagnosed diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) and other brain stem gliomas. The HSCs are administered intravenously following lymphodepleting conditioning or dose-intensified temozolomide (TMZ) to support hematopoietic recovery and optimize the immunological environment for subsequent adoptive cellular therapies, including tumor-specific ex vivo expanded autologous lymphocyte transfer (TTRNA-xALT) and total tumor mRNA-pulsed dendritic cell (TTRNA-DC) vaccines.
