Autologous iNSC-DAP is an autologous cell therapy being developed for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. The therapeutic process involves collecting peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from the patient, which are then reprogrammed into induced neural stem cells (iNSCs) and further differentiated into dopaminergic (DA) precursor cells. These cells are then transplanted into the patient's striatum via stereotaxic injection. The goal is to replace the dopaminergic neurons lost during the progression of Parkinson's Disease, thereby restoring dopamine production and improving motor function. This approach aims to provide a personalized treatment that avoids the risk of immune rejection associated with allogeneic cell sources.
