A personalized, cell-based cancer immunotherapy composed of a patient's own (autologous) dendritic cells that have been pulsed ex vivo with a lysate derived from the patient’s own lymphoma cells. The resulting vaccine is designed to stimulate the immune system—specifically T-cell responses—against multiple antigens present in the patient’s unique tumor, potentially leading to targeted destruction of residual or relapsed malignant B-cells. This approach leverages the antigen-presenting capabilities of mature dendritic cells and the broad antigenic spectrum provided by whole-tumor lysates, aiming to overcome issues such as HLA restriction and tumor antigen loss. The primary indication is for indolent B-cell lymphomas, particularly in patients with relapsed or refractory disease[4][7]. Clinical studies have demonstrated induction of both clinical and immunologic responses.
