Overview

This investigational autologous cell therapy is developed by the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for the treatment of recurrent pregnancy loss associated with endometrial hypoplasia (thin endometrium). The therapy involves the isolation and preparation of the patient's own mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which are then induced or selected for their ability to differentiate into endometrial and decidual cells. These cells are intended to be transplanted into the uterus to regenerate the endometrial lining, increase its thickness, and improve the uterine environment for embryo implantation and gestation. The program is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial (NCT05520112).
