Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This experimental cell therapy combination consists of expanded autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNCs). Developed by Jianming Tan, the treatment is designed to address osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) by leveraging the immunosuppressive and tissue-repairing properties of MSCs alongside the revascularization potential of BMMNCs. The therapy involves the infusion of these cells into the affected area to promote bone regeneration and restore blood supply in patients with early-stage (ARCO phase I and II) disease.
