Autologous murine BCMA-CAR T cells (also known as YK-BCMA BB-002) is a second-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA/CD269). Developed by Shanghai YaKe Biotechnology in collaboration with Beijing Boren Hospital, the therapy utilizes autologous T cells transduced with a lentiviral vector encoding a murine-derived single-chain variable fragment (scFv) specific for BCMA, along with a 4-1BB costimulatory domain and a CD3ζ signaling domain. It is primarily being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) and secondary plasma cell leukemia (sPCL).
