Overview

E10H is an autologous natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Guangzhou Double Bioproducts. The treatment involves the isolation of NK cells from a patient's own peripheral blood, followed by ex vivo expansion and activation before re-infusion. NK cells are innate immune effectors that can recognize and eliminate tumor cells through the release of cytotoxic granules (perforin and granzymes) and the secretion of cytokines like interferon-gamma. E10H is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials in China as a first-line treatment for advanced gastrointestinal cancers, including gastric adenocarcinoma and colorectal cancer. In these studies, it is administered in combination with IgG1 antibodies and standard chemotherapy to potentially enhance anti-tumor activity through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and synergistic immune activation.
