Overview

Autologous non-cultured dermal cell suspension is a point-of-care cell therapy developed for the treatment of localized facial volume loss, specifically dermal atrophy. Unlike traditional cell therapies that require intensive laboratory expansion, this technique involves the immediate enzymatic digestion of a patient's own dermal tissue (typically harvested from the gluteal region) using collagenase-1 to create a single-cell suspension. This suspension, which contains a population of viable fibroblasts and mesenchymal stem cells, is then injected directly into the recipient area. The therapy is intended to restore dermal thickness and stimulate tissue regeneration in localized defects caused by inflammatory pathologies, offering a potentially more permanent and cost-effective alternative to synthetic fillers.
