Autologous total IgG is an experimental, personalized biologic therapy developed by Ajou University School of Medicine. The treatment involves the purification of a patient's own total immunoglobulin G (IgG) from their plasma to a high degree of purity (≥97%) using Protein A chromatography. Administered via intramuscular injection, the therapy is hypothesized to act as an immunomodulator that stimulates or modulates T cell responses to enhance the body's immune reaction against cancer. It is currently being investigated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, melanoma, and renal cell carcinoma.
