Autologous Tumor Antigens (ATA) is a personalized cancer immunotherapy developed by the Research Genetic Cancer Centre Group (RGCC). The therapy utilizes cellular fragments—including organelles, mitochondria, cell membranes, RNA, DNA, and protein fragments—derived from dying circulating tumor cells (CTCs) isolated from the patient's own blood. These fragments serve as a source of patient-specific tumor-associated antigens (TAAs). When administered as a vaccine, ATA is designed to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells, aiming to inhibit tumor growth and prevent recurrence. It is intended for use in various solid tumors, such as breast, lung, prostate, colorectal, and ovarian cancers, but is not indicated for hematologic malignancies.
