An autologous cancer vaccine composed of membrane proteins extracted from a patient's own tumor cells. Developed by Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, this therapeutic approach aims to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells by presenting a broad spectrum of patient-specific tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) found on the cell membrane. By utilizing the entire repertoire of membrane-bound proteins, the vaccine is designed to overcome tumor heterogeneity and reduce the risk of immune escape. It is being investigated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for the treatment of various recurrent or metastatic solid tumors, including lung adenocarcinoma, small cell lung carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer.
