AV-MEL-1 is an autologous dendritic cell vaccine developed as a personalized immunotherapy for metastatic melanoma. The therapy consists of autologous dendritic cells loaded with antigens derived from the patient's own tumor-initiating cells, aiming to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack melanoma cells.
