Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVA-202 is a preclinical, engineered exosome-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Avalon GloboCare for the treatment of diabetic foot and related complications. Avalon GloboCare is leveraging its mesenchymal stem cell–derived, engineered exosome platform—previously exemplified by AVA-201, a miR‑185–loaded exosome candidate—to create AVA-202 as a next-generation exosome therapy aimed at modulating local inflammation, promoting tissue repair, and improving microvascular function in diabetic foot disease.[9][10] Although detailed payload and target information for AVA-202 have not been publicly disclosed, it is positioned within Avalon’s exosome pipeline as a cell-free, regenerative medicine approach for nervous system and peripheral tissue complications associated with diabetes, with a current global development status of preclinical.[4][5][9]
