Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVA-ERL is a first-in-class tumor-targeted radioligand therapy (RLT) being developed by Avammune Therapeutics. It is designed to deliver a radioactive payload specifically to tumor cells by binding to a proprietary target. The drug is currently in the discovery stage for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and renal cell carcinoma (RCC). As a radioligand therapy, it utilizes a targeting ligand to deliver a cytotoxic radioactive isotope directly to cancer cells, minimizing damage to healthy tissues.
