Overview

AVA6103 is a peptide-drug conjugate (PDC) developed by Avacta Group plc. It utilizes the pre|CISION platform to deliver the potent topoisomerase I inhibitor exatecan directly to the tumor microenvironment. This is achieved through cleavage by fibroblast activation protein (FAP), which is overexpressed in many solid tumors. AVA6103 aims to minimize systemic toxicity while maximizing antitumor activity. It has shown significant tumor growth inhibition and durable complete responses in preclinical models.
