AVB-003

AVB-003 is an investigational allogeneic encapsulated cell therapy being developed by Avenge Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. Built on the proprietary LOCOcyte™ platform, the therapy consists of allogeneic cells engineered to secrete native human interleukin-15 (IL-15) directly into the tumor microenvironment. This localized delivery approach is designed to enhance the anti-tumor activity of natural killer (NK) cells and memory T cells while avoiding the systemic toxicities often associated with cytokine-based immunotherapies. By providing a sustained, high concentration of IL-15 locally, AVB-003 aims to stimulate a potent local immune response that can subsequently trigger a systemic anti-tumor effect.
