Overview

AVC-202 is an investigational allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by AvenCell Therapeutics for the treatment of multiple myeloma. The therapy is engineered using AvenCell's proprietary TruAllo™ technology platform, which is designed to create 'off-the-shelf' cell products that can persist in the patient by overcoming graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and rejection by the host's immune system. Unlike autologous CAR-T therapies that require patient-specific manufacturing, AVC-202 aims to provide a scalable, readily available treatment option. As of current public disclosures, the specific biological target of the CAR construct in AVC-202 remains undisclosed.
