Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVC-S-103 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Avidicure for the treatment of HER2-positive malignancies, including breast and gastric cancers. The drug consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. By binding to HER2-expressing tumor cells, AVC-S-103 is internalized, allowing for the targeted delivery and release of its cytotoxic agent to induce cell death while minimizing systemic toxicity. As of late 2024/early 2025, the program is in the IND-enabling stage of development.
