Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVCN319302a is a preclinical-stage botanical cannabinoid formulation developed by Avicanna for the treatment of chronic pain. It is formulated as an oral powder utilizing Avicanna's proprietary Self-Emulsifying Drug Delivery System (SEDDS) technology, also known as PwdRx. The formulation contains a combination of cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). In preclinical studies, the PwdRx platform has demonstrated significantly enhanced bioavailability, faster absorption, and higher peak plasma concentrations compared to standard medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil-based cannabinoid formulations.
